Our Story
After more than 15 years working as an in-house counsel for multinational corporations, I have met numerous attorneys, presidents, general managers, and CEOs of different companies or firms from many countries all over the world. Unlike debating in a court room, advocating vigorously may or may not serve the best interest of the company. In fact, most disputes can be avoided if counsels worked with business side closely at the beginning. It is even more important for start-ups and smaller companies, who lack the resource of a full-function legal department.

Founder & CEO
Eric Ma, founder of ShuttleLegal, has 20 years of experience managing all aspects of intellectual property and general legal issues worldwide. He played important management roles in a multinational company's Legal Department, including as the Senior Director of Patent Department and as Acting General Counsel. The company Eric worked for was listed as Fortune Global 500 company in 2011 and 2012, and is one of the top IT design and manufacturing companies in the world, with a revenue of more than USD$ 20 billion. Thomson Routers has also selected this multinational company as one of the Top 100 Global Technology Leaders in 2017.
